Colophospermum mopane -  Beautiful, tight-grained wood.  Mostly brown with orange-red
tint color.  Reported to have the same tonal qualities as African Blackwood.  Holds detail
well and is a popular wood with ornamental turners.  Bonnie Klein says this is the nicest
wood she has ever put a gouge to.  Good enough for me!  Comes out of Africa
